The Weeknd's Top 3 Features

Abel Tesfaye isn't really a feature artist, so if he's doing one, best believe it's going to be top quality. Throughout the 2010's, Tesfaye made a few guest appearences, bringing the hammer home on pretty much all of them. Though some are certainly better than others, let's take a look at the best of his feature work.

3. Juicy J- One of Those Nights ft. The Weeknd

The first time I heard this, I was at work. I was taking a break in the confrence room, and it just popped up on my computer. I had a feeling it would be good, and my jaw ended up on the floor for about 15 minutes. Combined with the music video, which showcases Abel in his natural habitat, I thought this was his best song at first listen. I would say it's the third best out of all of these though, just because the other two do have a bit higher replay value. Still better than any feature anyone else has, though.

2. Rick Ross- In Vein ft. The Weeknd

Now this is just an unreal piece of work. This song is pretty unknown, and just goes to show that every time you think you know The Weeknd's work, you really don't. Abel gets into emotion about his homelessness and bloodshed on this one, which he doesn't do often. Rick Ross is at his best, as he speaks about his rough path to succes as well. Just the ultimate combination.

  1. Wiz Khalifa- Remember You ft. The Weeknd

The opening verse on this song is so good that The Weeknd and Wiz Khalifa give you a good minute of instrumental prior just to prepare yourself. It's said that The Weeknd had this written and called up the Taylor Gang CEO, asking to be on his album, and it sure soiunds like it, because Wiz Khalifa does a horrible job, with full respect to his career. His second verse is decent, but I used to skip his first one. This is just the ultimate vibe, and it's like Tesfaye's performance is so elite that you just have to sacrifice and put up with Wiz's, but you know you have no choice.

The Weeknd has made an immesurable impact on music. His features throughout the years have emphasized that impact, and these are the best of them.
